Outstanding Public Health Service Award (Faculty)

The UAB School of Public Health annually recognizes a member of the faculty who has distinguished himself or herself in honoring the vision of the School through demonstrative efforts and accomplishments in public health service.  Such service should significantly contribute to the promotion, protection, or enhancement of the health of people through policy or systems development, direct intervention, or community education. Public health service activities may include technical assistance, program development, advocacy, education, or leadership. The Dean presents the award at the spring graduation reception.
